Springtime brings with it new life, new beginnings, and new hope. As we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, let us find inspiration in these five beautiful poems about our Lord:
1. The Risen Savior
The tomb is empty, the stone is rolled away,
Jesus has risen, death could not stay.
He conquered sin, He conquered death,
And gave us eternal life with every breath.
He conquered sin’s grip, He conquered death’s might,
Radiating love, a beacon of eternal light.
With each breath, He bestows the gift of life,
Defeating darkness, dispelling all strife.
2. The Promise Fulfilled
Long ago, a promise was made,
That a Savior would come to save.
He would bear our sins and set us free,
Jesus fulfilled that promise on Calvary.
The promise made of old, now stands fulfilled,
A Savior’s sacrifice, the void within us filled.
On Calvary’s cross, He bore our heavy load,
In His mercy and grace, redemption’s story unfolded.
3. The Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the world, shines bright,
Bringing hope and joy to all in sight.
He dispels the darkness and illuminates the way,
Leading us to eternal life every day.
4. The Way, the Truth, the Life
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life,
He leads us to God, through all the strife.
He is the path to everlasting peace,
And in His love, our fears and worries cease.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life we seek,
Through Him, divine wisdom and blessings we reap.
In His embrace, we find solace and peace,
Every worry and doubt, His love does release.
5. The Resurrection and the Life
He is risen, our Lord and King,
Death has lost its deadly sting.
He is the Resurrection and the Life,
And in His grace, we find eternal life.
With triumphant grace, He conquers the grave,
The Resurrection and the Life, mighty to save.
Death holds no power, its sting forever broken,
In Jesus’ victory, eternal hope awoken.
